Agar Agar 50 gr
50 gram pot of agar agar or vegetable binder, from the Funcakes brand.
Agar-agar is a vegetable binder and a versatile product widely used in pastry and cake design. It can be used in place of gelatin but does not contain any animal products.
If you replace the gelatin with agar-agar you will then need to adjust your recipe: Use agar agar for 8g of gelatin, it has in fact a gelling power 8 times greater than gelatin.
Use this ingredient to make gelatinous candies or flans for example.
Agar-agar hardens at room temperature. Always store your preparations in the refrigerator.
This product is colorless.
